TYPE & CAPACITIES:
SATURN underhung and top running, dual drive end trucks, model UDM & TDM, have been designed to meet or exceed CMAA specifications.  They are available for service class "C" of the following four capacities: 3-, 5-, 7.5- and 10-ton.

SATURN end trucks are built for single or double girder bridge cranes.

WHEELS:
SATURN end trucks are furnished with precision machined wheels manufactured from high quality steel. All wheels are equipped with antifriction bearings.

FRAMES:
SATURN end trucks are jig welded and are accurately machined to assure proper alignment.

SPEED REDUCERS:
Worm gear speed reducers of selected ratios will provide smooth deceleration without motor brakes in most applications.
Helical gear drives units are also available.

BUMPERS:
Energy absorbing bumpers are standard equipment.

RUNAWAYS:
SATURN underhung end trucks are available for operation on 3.25" patented track, all S-beams and W-beams up to 12" wide flange.
SATURN top running end trucks are available for operation on all A.S.C.E. rails, square or rectangular bar stock and top flanges of structural beams.

CONTROLS:
SATURN end truck controls can be supplied as optional equipment. They can be designed to suit all applications.  Multiple speed, frequency inverter, soft start and electronic acceleration controls can also be furnished.
SATURN end truck controls can be provided as an interrelating part with any SATURN wire rope hoist. The SATURN BTH (Bridge-Trolley-Hoist) control package combines all controls in the hoist control box.  Expensive field wiring can be greatly reduced when using the BTH combination.

SINGLE END DRIVE TRUCKS:
The above models UDM & TDM end trucks can also be built as models USM & TSM end trucks with single motor drive.  All other specifications will remain the same.
